Fair and Frosty (Special) WELLINGTON, May 29. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate north-easterly winds freshening in some exposed positions. Tlie weather fair, although cold with sharp frosts inland. At 1 o'clock this morning the weather was clear and calm. There was a sharp frost. The barometer reading was 30.20 in (steady). THE TIDES.—High water: Saturday, Invercargill 2.29 a.m. and 2.53 p.m.; Bluff, 1.48 a.m. and 2.12 p.m.; Riverton, 12.48 a.m. and 1.12 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 12.57 a.m. and 1.21 p.m. Sunday: Invercargill, 3-22 a.m. and 3.50 p.m.; Bluff, 2.41 a.m. and 3.09 p.m.; Riverton, 1.41 a.m. and 2.09 p.m.; Oreti Beach. 1.50 a.m. and 218 p.m. THE SUN—Saturday: Rises 8.18 a.m., sets 5.10 p.m. Stmday: Rises 8.19 a.m.. sets 5.09
