R.S.A. STREET DAY APPEAL

The sum of £143 was collected yesterday as a result of the street day appeal on behalf of the Invercargill Returned Services Association’s building fund. Various stalls in Dee and Tay streets did brisk business during the day and good support was given the various competitions. The stalls were conducted by the Southland Travel Club, the Women’s Club, women bowlers and the R.S.A. women’s canteen.
