Fair Conditions (Special) WELLINGTON, Feb. 27. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate to fresh south-west to west winds; the weather fair with moderate temperatures. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was showery and unpleasant. There was a south-westerly wind during the day. The weather al 1 o’clock this morning was cold and showery. The barometer reading was 30.02 in (rising).
