RED CROSS NOTES

VOLUNTARY AID CLASSES This week the members of the depot committee have been working on bandages for the Joint Council. Altogether about 200 have been rolled and forwarded to the committee of St. John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society. Next week the members of the Georgetown committee will be in charge of the depot. The society wishes to thank the following:—Mrs E. J. Brodrick, Mrs Bain, Eye street, Mrs J. R. Voluntary Aid Classes—Second-year home nursing lecture will be held in the V.A. rooms, Don street, on Monday, at 7.15 p.m. A first-year home nursing lecture will be held in the V.A. rooms on Tuesday at 7.15 p.m. A first-aid class will be held on Wednesday in the V.A. rooms at 7.15 p.m. The Otatara members’ lecture will be helcLon Friday afternoon, January 30, in the V.A., rooms, Don street, at 2 p.m. Transport Section—Will all members of the transport section please meet in the V.A. room on Thursday, January 29, at 7.15 p.m.
