WORK OF COMMITTEES Depot.—A large consignment of knitted goods has been despatched to Wellington. The committee thanks all those who have worked so well during the past year. Avenal.—Mrs Scammell, who is in charge of the distribution of wool for this committee, reports that 14 scarves, six pairs of socks, six balaclavas and four pairs of mittens’ have been completed recently. North Invercargill.—The monthly meeting of the committee will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Monday. The December collection totalled £39/7/6.

South Invercargill A.—This committee will meet on Monday at 2.30 p.m. in Knox Hall. Eight scarves and one pair of mittens were handed into the depot on Friday.
