(Special) WELLINGTON, January 23. The weather has been fine and not during the week and the going will be fast for the concluding day of the Wellington meeting. Nothing occurred on the tracks during the week to modify the opinions based on form except that Hearth did an exceptionally good mile on Thursday morning, easily shading Lou Rosa at the end. If she can run on she must go well in the Racing Club Handicap. Wardress has been scratched for the Wellington Racing Club Handicap because of a com developing on the trip up. She is the only withdrawal since the acceptances. The betting will be win and place and the following horses may be supported: MUNGAROA HIGHWEIGHT HANDICAP: Master Lackham, Lunaria, Gold Card.
