WOOL APPRAISAL BEGUN

The second Invercargill wool appraisal of the season was begun yesterday. Although it was announced at the end of last week that the appraisal was to be delayed until today, members of the valuing committee arrived in the city on Tuesday night and started on some of the catalogues yesterday morning. The appraisal will occupy some days, and the range of prices will probably be available tomorrow. It is reported that the wool appears to be on a par with the offering earlier in the season. The range of prices will probably be about the same.
