STEEL BILLETS SALVAGED
The Marina returned from the wreck of the Waikouaiti yesterday with a large cargo of steel billets. An interested crowd of spectators watched the cargo being lifted from the ship to the wharf. Although each billet weighed about three-quarters of a ton the magnet controlled from the ship lifted each with ease.
