NATIONAL SAVINGS AND MONEY-BALL
From Monday to Friday last week £2474 was received in National Savings investments at Invercargill. This sum was £431 in excess of the weekly quota of £2043. With Saturday’s receipts to be added, there will be a carry-over to this week. That means that the money-ball on the Post Office will be placed part way up the flagpole today.
