Windy and Cold (Special) WELLINGTON, Nov. 14. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington: Strong westerly to south-westerly winds; the weather cold with occasional showers and bright intervals.
This morning at 1 o’clock the weather was boisterous. There were heavy showers of rain and hail, accompanied by a strong westerly wind. The barometer reading was 29.52 in (rising).
