CAUSE FOR CONCERN
PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENTS “I am very concerned at the continued prevalence of pedestrian accidents and shall advise you further about what action it is found possible to take,” stated the Commissioner of Transport (Mr G. L. Laurenson) in a letter received by the Automobile Association (Southland) in reply to representations made recently by the association through the South Island Motor Union. Mr Laurenson added that special consideration was being given to the question of accidents to pedestrians.
