(P.A.) WELLINGTON, November 13. Under the existing Suspension of Ap-

prenticeship Emergency Regulations an apprentice undergoing territorial training is credited with the period of training as time served under his contract of apprenticeship foi- the purpose of the calculation of wages payable to him under the contract, but the period of such training is required to be made up to the end of the apprenticeship term on such terms and conditions relating to wages or otherwise as may be prescribed by an apprenticeship committee. Amended regulations Gazetted tonight fix the rate of remuneration for the time to be made up at the end of the apprenticeship term at half the difference between a journeyman’s rate and the rate prescribed in the contract for the last six months of apprenticeship.
