BEST WISHES FOR SUCCESS OF CONFERENCE
The good wishes of Mr A. le H. Hoyles, formerly president of the Invercargill Chamber of Commerce, for the success of the forthcoming conference of the Associate Chambers in Invercargill were conveyed, in a letter which was read at the meeting of the Invercargill council yesterday. Mr Hoyles, who is now living in Auckland, said he had attended a meeting of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce council and had been warmly welcomed. He had assured the council that their delegates would enjoy their visit to the conference. He added the following note to his letter:
“Auckland weather report—for the last three days, heavy gales with driving rain. Temperatures cool!”
