INVERCARGILL AIRMAN SERIOUSLY ILL
Mr and Mrs H. A, Brumby, of Invercargill, have received advice that their son, C. H. (“Barney”) Brumby, has been admitted to No. 14 Military Hospital, Oxford, and has been placed on the seriously ill list as a result of an aircraft accident. BELIEVED KILLED Flying Officer C. C. G. Webb, who is reported missing believed killed, was a son of Mr and Mrs H. H. Webb, of Timaru, and a son-in-law of Mr W. H. Bond, of Dunrobin Station. He married Miss Nancy Bond in England 18 months ago and is survived by his wife and one child. Flying Officer Webb left New Zealand to join the Royal Air Force about five years ago.
