QUEEN’S PARK LADIES’ CLUB A Stableford match was played by members of the Queen’s Park Ladies’ Golf Club in beautifu 1 weather yesterday. The best cards were:— Senior.—Mrs W. H. Gregory 20-14-34; Mrs H. Halligan 16-14-30. Junior.—Mrs A. Harrington 15-24-39; Mrs G. Caldwell, 13-23-36; Mrs F. Kingsland 10-24-34. The C grade match was won by Mrs Hamilton. WINTON CLUB First round matches in the men’s unofficial championships of the Winton Golf Club resulted as follows:— Senior.—N. Pigou beat W. Balch, 1 up; G. Lindsay beat F. Lindsay, 1 up; O. Smith beat R. Scott, 3 and 2. Junior.—J. T. Shaw beat G. King, 3 and 2; D. King beat R. Wilson, 6 and 5; J. T. Hobbs beat H. Denny by default. A Stableford match resulted as follows: W. Balch 27-10-37; W. Geary 28-5-33; J. T. Shaw 15-18-33: R. Bretherton 22-10-32; N. Pigou 28-3-31.
