DEPUTATION TO DISCUSS LIGHTING RESTRICTIONS
Representations with the object of having an improvement made in lighting, the restrictions on which are considered to be too drastic, will be made to the acting Prime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) at a conference in Wellington today. This was mentioned by the Mayor of Auckland (Mr J. A. C. Allum) at a meeting of the council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce when the lighting of clock faces was being discussed. Mr Allum said he would go into that matter also.
