PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES TONIGHT

The following trophies will be awarded at the presentation of cups and championship certificates to Southland swimmers for the 1940-1941 season at the Tepid Baths tonight at 7 o'clock:— Women’s certificates.—Fifty yards freestyle, Misses J. Macdonald and K. Bradshaw; 100 yards freestyle, Misses J. Macdonald and K. Westerby; 220 yards freestyle. Misses K. Westerby and J. Macdonald; 440 yards freestyle, Misses J. Macdonald and K. Westerby; 100 yards and 220 yards breaststroke, Miss L. Jones; 100 yards and 200 metres backstroke, Miss J. Macdonald.

Intermediate boys.—Fifty yards and 100 yards freestyle, D. Kirkland and W. Chalmers; 220 yards and 440 yards freestyle, W. Chalmers and D. Kirkland; 100 yards breaststroke. B.
