CROQUET
INVERCARGILL CLUB The Invercargill Croquet Club held its annual meeting in die pavilion. The following office-bearers were elected: President, Mrs J. Watson; senior vice-president, Mrs A. Wilson; junior vice-president, Mrs H. J. Farrant; secretary and treasurer, Mrs R. J. Telfer; captain, Mrs J. Gillanders; committee, Mesdames A. M. Macdonald, J. Ronald, E. Crofts, C. E. Hannah, H. Petrie and Miss England; delegate to the Southland Croquet Association, Mrs J. Gillanders. During afternoon tea the president presented the trophies won during the season as follows: Club championship, Mrs R. J. Telfer; A grade handicap singles and Jennings Cup, Mrs A. Haase; B grade championship, Mrs H. J. Farrant; B grade handicap singles, Mrs J. Wilson; handicap doubies, Mesdames A. Macdonald and R. J. Telfer.
