AIRMAN HONOURED AT FAIRFAX
There was a very large attendance at a function held in the Fairfax hall in honour of Leading Aircraftman Keith Fraser. The chairman, Mr Rankin, introduced the guest. Mr Coster, in making a presentation of a fountain pen, a pencil and military brushes, spoke of the esteem in which Leading Aircraftman Fraser was held and wished him success and good luck. Mr Prentice spoke on behalf of returned soldiers and residents. Also present were Leading Aircraftmen E. De Clifford. R. Dickson (Riverton) and J. McNeill (Thornbury). Leading Aircraftman Fraser is the third son of Mr and Mrs Fraser, Ermedale, to enlist, Petty Officer K. Fraser being in the Navy and Private J. Fraser at present in camp.
