DISORDERS IN SYRIA
(Rec. 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 28. The Independent French News Agency at Jerusalem reports further disorders in Syria. At . Hama demonstrators raided the wheat mills and afterwards tried to free those arrested. The police fired on the rescuers. Four were killed and 15 wounded.
French armoured cars are patrolling the streets of Aleppo after similar incidents. A strike among milkmen has broken out at Beirut after the revision of the taxes on dairy products.
