SECOND NOMINATION FOR CITY COUNCIL
The second candidate to be nominated for the Invercargill City Council at the forthcoming municipal elections is Cr W. J. Thomas. His nomination paper was signed by Messrs J. D. Matheson, R. A. Wesney, T. W. Walker, K. H. Lines, G. Weir, S. Jones and L. M. Cox. The first candidate was Cr A. Scott. Nominations for the council and also for the mayoralty close at noon on Monday, May 5.
