Stewart Island Minerals
The existence of a mineral field in the Pegasus region on Stewart Island is brought to notice by gifts of minerals made by Mr A. Richardson, who lives on the island, to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. They comprise wolfram and what is known as stream tin, these being particles of tin washed from the lode and found in the beds of creeks.
