TRAM CONCESSIONS
The request from the Dunedin Area Home Guard Committee that the existing concession on the transport services enjoyed by members of his Majesty’s Forces should be extended to members of the Home Guard units has now been considered by the transport section of the Trading Committee. This committee will recommend to the City Council tonight that this concession be made available to members of the Home Guard while travelling to and from parades in uniform. The concession provides for a charge of Id for the first section, with a maximum charge of 2d for any one journey.
