ALIENS TRIBUNAL
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 17. The Attorney-General (the Hon. H. G. R. Mason) has announced the personnel of the Aliens Tribunal, con-sisting-of Mr Justice Callan (Auckland), Colonel C. H. Weston (Wellington) and Mr James Henry Collins (trades union secretary, Wellington). The functions of the tribunal are to inquire into the bona fides of all enemy aliens and to advise the Government in each case as to whether or not such aliens should be interned, and as to the conditions that should be imposed on them if they are not interned. The Minister said that, if necessary, cases could be referred to the tribunal for reconsideration.
