GUMMIES BUSH
COMMUNITY SING A successful community sing was held in the Gummies Bush hall. The chairman of the Pourakino Patriotic Committee, Mr W. B. Hopcroft, in introducing the song leader, Mr A. P. O’Callaghan, thanked the Ladies’ Committee for organizing the entertainment. Musical items were given by Mrs S. H. Mitchell, Miss F. McKay, Mr A. P. O’Callaghan and Mr T. Molloy. Miss M. Carmody was the accompanist and Mr B. McLeod the pianist. After the sing and the auction a dance was held. The fund will benefit to the extent of £2O.
