HIGHER REVENUE FOR CARRIAGE OF GOODS

FEWER PASSENGERS IN LAST FOUR WEEKS

An increase of £8578 was shown in the railway revenue for the Southland district for the four-weekly period ended June 22 compared with the same period of the previous vear. The increase occurred in the carriage of goods,-passenger traffic revenue being lower by £236.
