WASHINGTON, June 25.

The Postmaster-General (Mr. James Farley) announced the first flight of the New Zealand air line will start from San Francisco on July 7 and arrive in Auckland on July 17, from where the plane will leave on July 20, arriving in San Francisco on July 24. He added that the first flight was scheduled through Los Angeles, Honolulu, Canton Island and Noumea. Postal rates from California to Auckland would be 50 cents for each half-ounce, with graduated rates to intermediary points. The rates from Auckland to Noumea would be a shilling, to Canton a shilling and sixpence, to Honolulu two shillings and to San Francisco or Los Angeles three shillings and sixpence for each half-ounce.
