BROWNS PATRIOTIC CONCERT A concert staged by the Limehills Drama Club was held in the Browns hall. The proceeds are to go to the Browns Patriotic Fund, bringing the total to approximately £l5O. Plays presented by the Limehills Drama Club were:—“Something to Talk About,” “Fame and Glory,” “Playgoers,” and “Beauty for Sale.” Local artists who assisted were Miss I. Wilson, bagpipe selections, Mr R. Hinkley, songs, and Miss Shirley Harvey, Highland dances. Mrs R. Young was the accompanist.
