RESULTS OF FOURTH ROUND MATCHES
The fourth round of games of billiards, snooker and cards in the bowlers’ social evenings competition for the S. C. K. Smith Shield resulted as follows:—< ■
TE RANGI v. GEORGETOWN At billiards Te Rangi won two games; at snooker each team won a game; at cards Georgetown won 24 games and Te Rangi 1| games. Result: Te Rangi 3 points, Georgetown 3 points. INVERCARGILL v. NORTHEND At billiards Invercargill and Northend each won a game; at snooker Invercargill won two games; at cards Invercargill won 13 games and Northend won 11 games. Result: Invercargill 5 points, Northend 1 point. R.S.A. v. WAIHOPAI R.S.A. beat Waihopai by 4 points to 2 . points. . ... .■ .. ', . POSITION OF TEAMS The position of teams is as follows:— Te Rangi 16 points; R.S.A. 15 points; Invercargill 11 points; Georgetown 9 points; Waihopai 8 points; Southland 8 points; Northend 5 points.
