MAGISTRATE’S COURT
FRIDAY
(Before Mr R. C. Abernethy, S.M.) George Thomas Biondell, married, aged 21, pleaded guilty to a charge of committing an indecent assault on a girl aged eight years on December 3, 1939. Detective-Sergeant R. Thompson prosecuted and Mr T. V. Mahoney appeared for the accused. Biondell was committed for trial at the Supreme Court at Dunedin on Tuesday.
