FUNDS FOR AIR FORCE PRINCESS
Enthusiasm was shown by the packed house at the Civic Theatre last night for the community sing in aid of. the Air Force Princess of the Patriotic Fund carnival. The audience joined happily in the songs and the assisting performers were warmly received. The song leaders were Messrs C. Trim and B. Hammonds. Items were provided by the pupils of the Southland School of Dancing, girls of the Southland Technical College, Mr W. Matthews with his talking doll, a tableaux party arranged by Mrs J. D. Campbell and Mr A. Drain.
