SUPREME COURT
PRISONERS SENTENCED AT CHRISTCHURCH (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, February 19. Prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Northcroft in the Supreme Court today as follows: Frederick Charles Rhode Clark, rape, five years’ goal. George McDonald Hamilton, breaking and entering, 18 months’ imprisonment. William Stephen Thomson, theft, 12 months’ imprisonment. James Mervyn Philp, theft, breaking and entering, and receiving, three years’ in the Borstal concurrent with the sentence he is now serving.
