BIG FIRE IN LONDON FACTORY
(British Official Wireless) RUGBY, February 18. More than 300 firemen of the auxiliary fire service, both men and women, using 60 fire-fighting appliances from all over London, fought a large fire in a North London wireless valve factory late last night. The firemen continued their work all night, although the outbreak was in hand some hours after the alarm was received.
It is considered likely that the whole factory will be destroyed, although, being isolated, no other damage has been done.
