MAGISTRATE’S COURT

MONDAY (Before Mr R. C. Abernethy, S.M.) For disobedience of a maintenance order, George Holland was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment, to be released on the payment of £4/10/-. Richard John Purcell proceeded against Vera Keen in a complaint for variation of a maintenance order. Arrears of maintenance due to September 21, 1939, amounting to £l5/10/- were cancelled and the maintenance order, was varied to 7/6 a week, instead of 10/- a week as from December 18, 1939, the first payment to be made by December 25. John H. Bocock proceeded against Agnes Cadden Bocock in a complaint for variation of a maintenance order.
