WARSHIPS IN MONTEVIDEO Ark Royal Joins Renown GRAF SPEE READY FOR FLIGHT (Received December 18, 1.50 a.m.) RIO DE JANEIRO, December 17. The aircraft-carrier, H.M.S. Ark Royal, has joined H.M.S. Renown in the harbour at Montevideo. The Admiral Graf Spee remained poised for flight while the Uruguayan Cabinet met to decide the German plea for an extension of time.
