PIONEERS AT ROYAL SHOW
GUESTS AT AFTERNOON TEA The pioneers who attended the Centennial Royal Show yesterday were the guests of the Hon. Adam Hamilton and Mrs Hamilton at afternoon tea in their marquee. Mr L. J. Wild, president of the Royal Agricultural Society, was also present. On behalf of the early settlers, whose ages ranged from the seventies to 97, Mr T. Giller thanked Mr and Mrs Hamilton for providing refreshments and said that they deeply appreciated all that had been done for them. There was no one more worthy that could be entertained. Among those present were Mrs P. Monaghan (Gore), Mrs F. Wild (Invercargill), Messrs T. Giller (Invercargill), W. Calder (Winton), T. A.
