BIRTHDAY PARTY OF GUIDES
A social evening was held in the Ed'.ldale Hall recently, the occasion being the seventh birthday of the Girl Guides. There were several visitors from the Mataura and Wyndham companies. After a short concert by the Guides and Brownies, supper was served, and Doctor Woodhouse cut the cake,'which was made by Mrs Brown (president). ,> The remainder of the evening was / spent in Guide games; Guide Peggy ' Anderson was accompanist, and Captain Elsie McLeod was responsible for the evening programme.
