OBITUARY
MRS IDA E. LYSNAR (United Press Association) GISBORNE, December 3. The death has occurred of Mrs Ida Eleanor Lysnar, wife of Mr William Douglas Lysnar and second daughter of the late Mr Frederick J. Tiffen, a pioneer Hawke’s Bay settler. Married in 1893, Mrs Lysnar spent the subsequent years at Gisborne, where during her husband’s mayoralty and 12 years’ parliamentary career she entertained many notabilities. Mrs Lysnar was widely known in parliamentary and official circles. Her short illness ended on Sunday morning.
