WEATHER DURING NOVEMBER The weather in Gore during November was very changeable, although for the last week conditions have been more pleasant. At the beginning of the month the weather was fine, the temperature reaching 82 degrees on one occasion. Later in the month the weather became windy and there were frequent showers of rain, while once the temperature was below freezing point. Conditions this week have been good and the sun has shone every day, while the maximum temperature in the shade has not been below 80 degrees, on Tuesday reaching 84 degrees. The sun shone for 224 hours, an increase of 20 hours on November last year when the weather was also changeable with spells of boisterous conditions, including a light fall of snow and. frosts. The total amount of sunshine for the year is now 1699 hours, compared with 1932 hours for the same period last year. The rainfall for the month was 4.39 inches, a slight increase on last November when 4.19 inches fell. This brings the total for the 11 months of this year to 36.284 inches compared with 23.80 inches for the same period last year.
