WELCOME HOME AT MENZIES FERRY
MR AND MRS RICHARD UDY CONGRATULATED
On Tuesday evening a few friends assembled at the new home of Mr and Mrs Richard Udy, Menzies Ferry, when congratulations were extended to the recently married couple. A social hour was spent during which items were given by Misses McGillivray, the Dooley brothers and Mr T. W. McGillivray. On behalf of those present, Mr J. Henderson presented Mr and Mrs Udy with an ovenware dish, at the same time wishing them every success in their married life.
Other speakers to congratulate the guests of the evening were Messrs H. Hunter and J. Dooley. Those present were Mr and Mrs R. Udy, Mr and Mrs J. Henderson, Mr and Mrs W. Bulling, Mr and Mrs H. Gibb, Mr and Mrs W. Gregory, Mr and Mrs L. Symons, Mr and Mrs W. King, Mr and Mrs T. W. McGillivray. Mesdames Agnew, P. Laurie, Dooley. Misses McGillivray, Baird, Shields, H. and I. Crosbie. Messrs A. Fenton, E. Agnew, Hunter, F. Muir, Dooley (3), and Crosbie (3).
