TODAY’S RECIPE
CUCUMBER RELISH 1 dozen cucumbers. 2 quarts small onions. 2 tablespoons salt. lib brown sugar. 1 quart vinegar. li tablespoons white mustard seed. 1 teaspoon tumeric. Peel onions. Slice cucumber and onions. Let all stand together sprinkled with salt for one hour. Drain, add brown sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and tumeric. Boil for 45 minutes or until tender and place in sterilized jars. SARAH.
