FAST TRACKS AT RICCARTON

On the plough Not Out finished in front of Great Memory at the end of six furlongs in lmin 18 2-ssec. Not Out is to make his reappearance at RanglLady Leigh reeled off five furlongs in lmin 3 4-ssec. She will probably have ground to suit her at Washdyke. Sovereign Lady again finished clear of The Wrecker after covering a mile in lmin 46sec. Sir Gladsome and Counterlunch ran up the back in 51 3-ssec. The latter will be having her first race m the South Island on Saturday and will no doubt be in keen demand in her enS3 Roy ie ßun and Skyrena galloped five furlongs in lmin 3 4-ssec. The former North Islanders Phil and Royal Lassie ran half a mile in 51 4-ssec, finishing together. Haughty Winner, Rabble and Density were let off with strong -work. On the grass Ferriby and Kilrobe ran five furlongs in lmin 3 2-ssec, the last four in 49 2-ssec and St. Cloud sprinted half a mile in 53sec. Lady Middleham and Dranoel were together clear of Knight Commander after covering six furlongs in lmin 17 4-ssec. ' DICTATE WELL Dictate was going freely alongside Nolana at the end of five furlongs in lmin 4 2-ssec, the last four in 50 Spartan was in front of Dividend with Rebel Lad beaten off after galloping a useful seven furlongs in lmin 30 2-ssec. Shanghai Lily and Wine Card recorded similar figures. Boloyna and Great Night strode over five furlongs in lmin ssec. Pink Lad and Gay Lover sprinted three furlongs in 38 3-ssec. Parquet executed a nine-furlong task in lmin 58 3-ssec, and is coming to hand satisfactorily. Dinah Dhu and Flame Queen were abreast at the end of six furlongs in lmin 6 2-ssec.
