WOMEN’S DIVISION
WINTON BRANCH There was a fair attendance at the monthly meeting of the Winton branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union.
Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames C. Grimwood, G. McLeod, J. D. Campbell and W. H. King. The collection in aid of the Makogai leper fund met with a good response. The president introduced Miss Storey, who gave an interesting address on physical fitness. "Hie best bloom competition resulted:—Mrs J. Robertson 1, Mrs A. Nicholson 2, Mrs R. King 3. Most points for the year resulted:—Mrs A. Nicholson 1, Mrs H. A. Pierce 2, Mrs J. Robertson 3.
