OHAI GOLFERS HONOUR MRS R. COLQUHOUN
An enjoyable evening was spent by members of the Ladies’ Golf Club at the residence of Mrs S. L. Gardner, to do honour to Mrs R. Colquhoun, who is leaving the district to reside in Invercargill. The evening was spent in games, competitions and so on. The competitions were won by Mrs Colquhoun, Mrs J. Thompson and Mrs R. N. Murray. Supper was dispensed, after which the club captain, Mrs D. Craig, called on their guest to accept a pair of crystal candle-sticks, and wished her the best of luck and prosperity in her new home.
Mrs Colquhoun replied thanking the women of the Golf Club for their fine gift, and specially thanked Mrs Gardner for the use of her home and the very enjoyable evening. Mrs Colquhoun was accorded musical honours.
