MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB The Nightcaps Miniature Rifle Club held its weekly shoot in the Corona-,' tion Hall. There was a good attendance of' members. The scores were:— H. Hoskins 78.5, J. Beck 77.6, J. BOWLING CLUB The opening of the Nightcaps Bowling Club took place in ideal weather. Visitors were present from Otautau, Ohai, and Winton, as well as women bowlers from the Winton Club. Mr R. Sheddon, president of . the Nightcaps Club, welcomed the visitors. Mr F. Tilley, of the Ceptral Club. Winton, representing the Southland Bowling Centre, also spoke and congratulated the Nightcaps Club on the playing surface of the green. Mrs W. Excell, sen., president of the Southland Ladies’ Bowling Centre, rolled the first bowl. The following players representing various clubs took part in the games and the results were: G.
