AUSTRALIAN DRIED FRUITS BOUGHT
(Received September 13, 8.45 p.m.) CANBERRA, September 13.
The Federal Minister of Commerce (Sir Henry Gullett) announces that Britain has bought the whole Australian surplus of dried fruits at a price approximating that recently ruling in the open market. It is probable also that Britain will take the whole of the surplus sugar crop.
