LONDON’S SHIPPING During the week ended August 11, 1000 vessels, representing 1,013,294 net register tons, used the Port of London. Of these 510 vesesls (812,567 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports and 490 vessels (200,727 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included six meat cargoes—two from Australia, one from New Zealand and three from South America, comprising 152,000 carcasses of lamb and mutton, 136,000 quarters of beef, quantities'of pork, rabbits and sundries. ' Twenty timber-laden vessels docked in the Surrey Commercial and India and Mlilwall Docks with 34,000 tons of softwood. > OTHER PORTS AUCKLAND, Sentember 13.
