The Prime Minister (Mr W. L. Mackenzie King) in the House of Commons said that High Commissioners for Australia and New Zealand might be appointed shortly. The war made more necessary rapid inter-Dominion communication.' High Commissioners in other Dominions would further effective co-opera-tion. Canada had indicated to Australia and New Zealand that she would welcome an exchange of High Commissioners. They had intimated that they would cordially receive Canadian representatives.
