BIG SOUTHLAND ESTATES
PROBATE GRANTED BY SUPREME COURT
Probate has been granted by his Honour Mr Justice Smith in several big estates in Southland. The chief of these is the estate of John. Mainland, retired farmer, of Invercargill, which was sworn at £23,000. The estate of Archibald Macdonald, accountant, of Invercargill, was sworn at £20,000, and that of Albert Orrita Pointon, retired farmer, of Invercargill, at £10,500. Probate was granted in the following estates: —

Louisa Letitia Brunton, widow, of Otara. James Borland, retired farmer, of Riverton. William Mason, miner, of Ohai. Marion Maclean, married woman, of Browns. James Jellie, retired farmer, of Invercargill. William Harvey, farmer, of Invercargill. Jessie Erskine, widow, of Invercargill. Albert Ernest Quertier, farmer, of Mataura.
