RETURN TO APPEAL BOARD
MR J. S. ROSCOE’S SUCCESS IN BY-ELECTION (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 8. The election of Mr J. S. Roscoe to represent the first division on the Government Railways Appeal Board is announced in the New Zealand Gazette issued this evening. Mr Roscoe resigned from the board some months ago because he disagreed with the attitude adopted by the department toward certain aspects of staff administration. He was a candidate for the extraordinary election brought about by his resignation. Results of the voting are: 1 James Stanley Roscoe 2622 Arthur Joseph Vollemaere 521 Informal 5
